Shooting - What Are We Doing?

The League Against Cruel Sports campaigns for regulation of the shooting industry and an end to the practice of battery-breeding game to be killed for ‘sport’.

• We conduct investigations that serve to highlight cruelty within the industry and raise public awareness.
• We give advice to members of the public troubled by their local shoots and have produced a booklet, Troubled by the Shoot (available to download in pdf format).
• We discourage big businesses from holding corporate entertainment events on shooting estates.
• We lobby MPs to urge them to end the suffering of game birds by supporting a ban of cages used in the shooting industry.
