"How can it be considered normal and acceptable to hunt animals or to pitch them against each other in combat until one of them dies?  The simple fact is that it can’t; it is unbelievably cruel and heartless .

I did suggest that we make it more of a fair fight by arming all the game birds, foxes, badgers and other persecuted animals but apparently that would 'not only be costly but also a logistical nightmare'.  So would you please STOP IT NOW! and go and pick on someone your own size."
