Northumbria

The Northumbria Local Group is our newest regional group. They organise street information stalls and other local events to raise the profile of the League in the North East.

The group was set up in January 2010 and since their initial meeting the Northumbria group has really gone from strength to strength. They are an extremely enthusiastic and friendly group and are all committed to campaigning for better welfare for animals.

As with any new group one of the biggest challenges is attracting new members. If you live in the area and would like to get involved in the group's activities, get together with like-minded people and help to campaign for animal welfare then please get in touch.
